June 2010 - Bradley W. Ashley, Managing Partner of PRIVEQ Capital Funds, is re-elected as a Director of the Association for Corporate Growth-Toronto Chapter. He is the longest serving member of the Board of Directors of the Association for Corporate Growth-Toronto Chapter having served since 1995.

January 2010 - Frantic Films Corporation ("Frantic") is pleased to announce the growth of its television distribution library with the acquisition of the international rights to factual entertainment programming produced by Vancouver-based production company, The Eyes Television Production Ltd., a division of Peace Arch Entertainment Group Inc. Known for producing series such as “The Last 10 Pounds Bootcamp,” “Bulging Brides,” and “Air Dogs,” The Eyes’ library includes over 150 hours of programs, the bulk of which has never been sold in the international market. The transaction increases Frantic's library to approximately 500 hours – including 67 hours currently in production – and supports greater international distribution revenues. Peace Arch has retained the US and Canadian rights to the programs acquired by Frantic. “The Eyes programming is the perfect addition to our existing library,” says Jamie Brown, CEO of Frantic. “They are very successful programs in Canada and the United States that have been underexploited internationally to date. January 2010 - Jennifer T. Wang, an Associate of PRIVEQ Capital Funds, is elected Co-Chair of the CVCA´s Young Venture Capitalists (YVC) Committee.

November 2009 - In addition to recognition for its quality programming, Frantic Films Corporation ("Frantic") is enjoying its busiest year ever. The growing roster of productions and co-productions includes five new lifestyle/reality series: Rags to Red Carpet for W Network, House Poor for HGTV, Princess for SliceTM, and two new series for the Food Network featuring Lynn Crawford (Pitchin' In) and David Adjey (The Opener), as well as the co-production of a new scripted comedy series, Todd And The Book Of Pure Evil for SPACE. Also currently in production for CBC is the 2010 CBC Winnipeg Comedy Festival, the documentary Surviving the Future and a mini-series co-production, Keep Your Head Up Kid: The Don Cherry Story. Frantic is also working on two 1-hour pilots including Assault & Rescue for the Discovery Channel and Solid Rocket Boosters, produced for National Geographic Channels International's Megastructures anthology series and History Television in Canada. October 2009 - Frantic Films Corporation ("Frantic") is pleased to announce that it has won a Gemini award for the fourth consecutive year. The Disappearing Male, a documentary produced for CBC, has added a 2009 Gemini award for Best Science, Technology, Nature, Environment or Adventure Documentary Program. September 2009 - Kevin B. Melnyk, Partner of PRIVEQ Capital Funds, is elected to join the Executive of the Canadian Venture Capital Association (CVCA) in the role of Vice President.

September 2009 - Frantic Films Corporation ("Frantic") is pleased to announce that it has just finished shooting its eighth season of the Gemini award winning series, Til Debt Do Us Part, produced for Slice Network. Celebrating its 100th episode this summer, the series added a CFTPA Indie Award to its 2007 Gemini win for Best Lifestyle Program. Chef School won this same Gemini Award in 2008 and its second season has been nominated for Best Direction in a Lifestyle Program in 2009. The Disappearing Male, a documentary produced for CBC, has also been nominated for a 2009 Gemini and recently won Best Documentary Nature/Environment at the Yorkton Short Film Festival. Frantic was also honoured to have been nominated for Best Popular Science and Technology Program at the 2009 Banff World Television Festival for its Discovery Channel series, Guinea Pig. August 2009 - R.Nicholls Distributors Inc. ("Nicholls") is pleased to announce it has recently contracted with some of Canada's leading federal and provincial government safety agencies to provide approximately $10 million of equipment, ammunition and apparel. In June 2009, the Canadian Border Services Agency ("CBSA") awarded Nicholls a $6.9 million contract (including options) to provide its agents with cargo pants. Nicholls currently supplies CBSA with other uniform and personal safety equipment items. In May and July 2009, Nicholls was awarded contracts totaling $3.0 million of value to supply ammunition, crowd control equipment and small arms to customers including the Ontario Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services, the Ministère de la Sécurité Publique du Quebec and Canada's Department of National Defence and the Canadian Forces. February 2009 - R. Nicholls Distributors Inc. is pleased to announce that the Canadian Forces will purchase visual warning ("VW") systems and ancillaries, to include protective cases and remote operating switches, for $7.2 million. Initial delivery of the devices is expected as early as March 2009 with a full delivery before June 2010. VW systems are force protection tools used to warn, alert, deter and dissuade potentially threatening vehicles or persons from approaching too close to military security areas or patrols. A VW system utilizes laser technology to project a beam of green light at potential threats. The systems will be used in Afghanistan as a non-lethal alternative to warning shots when other warning measures fail to work. December 2008 - Frantic Films Corporation ("Frantic") has acquired Red Apple Entertainment Corporation ("Red Apple"), one of Canada's best known producers of factual live action television content. Red Apple, founded in 2000, is best known for its Gemini Award-winning series (Chef School and Opening Soon) and documentaries (Gamer Revolution) for leading Canadian broadcasters. June 2008 - Frantic Films Corporation (“Frantic”) has invested in GlassBOX Television Inc. (“GlassBOX”). GlassBOX’s first channel, BITE TV, launched in 2005 and provides multi-platform interactive television services. May 2008 - PRIVEQ Capital Funds is pleased to announce that Vertigo Group Inc., a portfolio company in PRIVEQ III Limited Partnership, has won the Astral Media Toronto Street Furniture contract to manufacture the Information Pillars for the City of Toronto. Vertigo's expertise in design and integration of leading edge technologies in the digital-out-of-home sector was what stood out to Astral as a valuable partner. The City of Toronto's $1 billion contract with the Montreal-based Astral Media Inc. is the "largest private-public partnership in the history of Canada, and the largest Street Furniture Contract of its kind in Canada", according to Mayor David Miller. December 2007 - PRIVEQ III Limited Partnership closes its third investment, R. Nicholls Distributors Inc. ("Nicholls"). PRIVEQ led a Management Buy-In and is proud to partner with the new CEO of Nicholls, Mr. Pierre Charron. Founded in 1980, Nicholls is Canada's leading distributor of security and law enforcement equipment to private, municipal, provincial and federal government safety/security agencies. The Company is also Canada's largest manufacturer/distributor of law enforcement and security guard uniforms, clothing and apparel for such agencies, in addition to being a market leading supplier of corporate uniforms and related clothing. December 2007 - Global Railway Industries Ltd. has announced that the Company's wholly owned subsidiary CAD Railway Industries Ltd. ("CAD") was awarded a 5-year $101.5 million contract to remanufacture a fleet of 53 VIA Rail Canada ("VIA") locomotives. "In October 2007, the Federal Government announced approximately $700 million in capital programs for VIA's future; including programs to remanufacture their locomotives and intercity passenger railcars," said Terry McManaman Chief Executive Officer of Global. "We are delighted to be selected by VIA as the locomotive remanufacturer for one of the largest passenger rail infrastructure investment programs in recent Canadian history. This contract award positions Global as the largest re-manufacturer of locomotives in Canada and as a major competitor in locomotive remanufacturing in North America." November 2007 - Frantic Films Corporation has successfully sold its VFX Division to Prime Focus Group (MUMBAI: PRFOCUS), one of the world's largest integrated film, advertising and television post-production and visual effects companies. Prime Focus also acquired Frantic Films Software, the Company's R&D division that develops and markets visual effects software solutions. Frantic Films also operates a Live-Action Production/Post-Production Division and a Television Commercial division that is not a part of the acquisition, and will continue to operate independently out of Winnipeg and Toronto, Canada. November 2007 - Global Railway Industries Ltd., has acquired Canada Allied Diesel Co. Ltd., and its affiliated companies (CAD Railway Services Inc., Engine System Development Centre Inc., and Lachine Rail Center Inc.) for $22 million . The Company is located in Lachine, Quebec. Canada Allied Diesel Co. Ltd. is a national and international seller of remanufactured locomotive engines, locomotive components and power generation units. CAD Railway Services Inc. is a national and international re- manufacturer of locomotives and rail cars. Engine System Development Centre Inc. provides locomotive emission testing and engine diagnostic services. For the fiscal year ended December 31, 2006, CAD’s revenues were approximately $32.0 million. September 2007 - Hallcon Corporation has completed a transaction to recapitalize its Balance Sheet. Bank of Montreal provided the Company with new revolving and term loan facilities which were used by Hallcon to repay shareholder loans, including amounts owing to PRIVEQ Capital Funds.
